2. Purpose of this website
This website exists to describe who we are and what we do. It is a corporate information resource. It does not sell goods or services, does not process payments, and does not conclude contracts.
3. No offer, no advice, no solicitation
Nothing on this website constitutes, or should be relied upon as:
- an offer to sell, or a solicitation of an offer to buy, any security, share, interest or financial product;
- an invitation to invest, or an offer of participation in any venture or fund;
- financial, investment, legal, tax or accounting advice;
- a promise, representation or warranty as to any future outcome or return.
Descriptions of our capabilities and the sectors in which we operate are illustrative. They do not constitute a track record, a guarantee of results, or a representation that any particular engagement, portfolio company or transaction exists or has been concluded.
4. Enquiries and documents you send us
Submitting the enquiry form does not create any contract, relationship, obligation or duty between you and us. We are under no obligation to respond, to meet, to evaluate any proposal, or to keep any opportunity open.
Do not send us confidential or proprietary information unless we have signed a written confidentiality agreement with you. Documents you upload through the form are handled as described in our Privacy Notice, but sending them does not by itself create a duty of confidentiality, and does not restrict us from pursuing similar opportunities or working with others in the same sector.
We receive many enquiries and may independently consider, develop or invest in ideas similar to those you send us. Nothing in your submission grants you any right, and nothing obliges us to compensate you.
You confirm that you have the right to send us anything you upload, and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.
5. Intellectual property
All content on this website (including the text, layout, design, graphics, the "VL" mark and the names "VidaLufuno" and "Ventura Investment & Development Associates") is owned by or licensed to VidaLufuno (Pty) Ltd, and is protected by copyright, trade mark and other laws.
You may view and print pages for your own reference. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of this website for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.
6. Links to other websites
Where we link to a third-party website, we do so for convenience. We do not control those sites, do not endorse them, and accept no responsibility for their content, availability, or privacy practices.
7. Availability and accuracy
We take reasonable care to keep this site accurate and available, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components. Content may be changed or removed at any time without notice.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, VidaLufuno (Pty) Ltd, its directors, employees and agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website, or from reliance on any content on it.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
9. Privacy
Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Notice, which forms part of these terms. This site sets no cookies and uses no tracking technology.
Your right to request access to records held by us is described in our PAIA Manual.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. You consent to the jurisdiction of the South African courts in respect of any dispute arising from your use of this website.
